Australia retained their Women T20 World Cup title. The defeated England by 4 runs. It was brilliant effort from England in the end to brought the match so close. England just fell short. But to be honest, they seemed never in control of the match.
But nevertheless the effort from England team was brilliant.
Charlotte Edwards(England) was declared the player of the series and Jess Cameron(Australia) the player of the match.
