T20 2012 World Cup Pakistan vs Sri Lanka First SF
Just finished watching the first Semi Final of the T20 world cup 2012. The batting concern for the Pakistani team was exposed today against the disciplined bowling of Sri Lanka.
Srilanka score a modest total 140/4 in 20 overs. At the first look I thought that may not be enough. But it was a mix of good bowling and par average batting which showed Pakistan the way back home. Overall it was a thriller one can expect in semi finals.
Here are some of the moments from today's match:
Herath clicked at the right time picking up two important wickets. That probably shifted the match towards Srilanka.
Jayawardane played gem of an innings.
Dilshan was not upto the mark. But played a good innings considering the slow track.

Afridi couldn't deliver when most needed. I personally believe he can better while opening the innings. Down the order he is not that good.
Sangakara played well but couldn't stay there for much time.
Kulsekra as always economical. U can trust him on this thing.
The captain played well but was not enough.

Overall it was a good match to watch. Anyway as there was no India in this match. So watched this for fun. and believe me despite being a low scoring match it was a great fun.
