T20 World Cup India vs RSA Super 8 Match

A bad win or a good loss. That should be the start of discussion today. Australia tried to loose against today rather than going for win just to make sure that they are in the semis. On the other hand, India tried to win the match rather than going for kill to earn a place in the semis.

In the end India's win is just a statistical win as is the Australia's loss.

Below are some moments captured from Today's matches:

ABD didn't trouble much to scorers as well as Team India.

Yuvi enjoyed fall of a wicket. He is almost back. But we want the Yuvi of past. Way to go Yuvi. Good Luck for the England Series.

GG couldn't do much good for himself and Team India but he is gonna come back hard. I wish him luck for the England Tour to India this November.

Sehwag was looking good today too. But I think the pressure to win by huge margin was showing on almost every Indian Batsmen. Fall of early wickets didnt allow India to post the target we would have liked.

Raina played a good little innings but wasn't enough at the end of the day

Zaheer got better by every match on this tour. But guess it was a little too late.

Kallis bowled brilliantly in the last few overs and didn't allow Raina and Dhoni to score freely.

Morkel also did his stuff in the beginning.

India got wickets at regular intervals. But that was just enough for a win not to qualify for semis.

Enjoying a wicket. was too much for Viru as he was injured a little from the celebration.

The guy played a gem of an innings and a little credit goes to him for not allowing India to qualify theoretically.

It was pakistan's day to be honest. From First over till the last including the match between India and RSA.

Not to take any credit out of Pakistan's performance today. On the day they played better and deserved to be in the semis. Sad of India though but a bitter truth.

The two semi-finalists.

I can't blame today's match completely for denial to semis. There are other reasons as well:

1. In the match against Pakistan, I think Yuvi and Kohli could have scored a little briskier rate than they actually did it in the end. That could have made a difference.

2. They allowed Australia to win by a bigger margin in the first super 8 game. Playing Piyush was a big mistake I would say. Sehwag should have been there.

3. It was hardly possible to beat RSA by 31 runs in a T20I. India doesn't have that kind of bowling attack. There should have been an eye on the RR from the first match for super 8 itself. That is the reason Australia has qualified even after loosing so heavily and India didn't even after winning their match.

Well its time for a rethink. I wish Team India good luck for the series against England and before that Champions League.

And the last but not the least.  Nevertheless a Good show by Team India. We are proud of you. Good Luck   for future tournaments. Bring glory to us.
